Jim Harris presents Reopening Webinar as part of CEG Series

June 2, 2020

The coronavirus pandemic has touched lives in ways very few things have before. As businesses in New York State look towards reopening, many are wondering how to do so safely.

Janitronics’ president, Jim Harris Jr., is at the forefront of the discussion. During a webinar hosted by the Center for Economic Growth, he discussed the methods and precautions we’re using when cleaning for health. Attendees of the webinar did not only learn about how Janitronics is handling the pandemic, but also things they could individually do to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

One of the highlights was Clean4Health, the four-phase system Janitronics has developed to combat germs and bacteria. Jim walked attendees through each phase, explaining both the mechanisms and importance of each one. Clean4Health’s steps work to both sanitize and disinfect facilities as businesses begin to open their doors back up. Additionally, Jim discussed what Janitronics does when one of our clients has a suspected or confirmed case of coronavirus.

There was also discussion of personal accountability during a pandemic. Jim stressed that both washing hands with soap and water, paired with wearing a mask, can reduce COVID transmission by a startling degree.

The discussion is far from over, even if the webinar is. Jim himself said that communication will be “the most important thing to be happening in the next few months.” As we continue to learn more about COVID and how to handle it, Janitronics will continue to adapt and, as always, clean for health.
