Job Summary

Cleanroom Technicians support specialized cleaning and material movement in designated cleanroom and process areas, following approved standard operating procedures (SOPs) while maintaining safety, quality, and compliance.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Unbox materials, dispose of packaging, and transport materials to designated areas.
  • Wear cleanroom gowning to prevent cross contamination; must be able to wear additional gowning (jumpsuit, hood, shoe covers, gloves, hairnet, facemask, full face respirator).
  • Perform specialized cleaning in designated areas per approved SOPs.
  • Maintain gowning inventory and supplies; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Vacuum and/or mop floors, walls, ceilings; clean/disinfect surfaces and designated areas (hallways, rooms, workstations, doors, door frames, windows, etc.).
  • Document performed tasks using technology or paper logbooks.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized; comply with company policies, procedures, safety, and security.
  • Treat coworkers with fairness, dignity, and respect; provide outstanding customer service.
  • Act with integrity, honesty, and transparency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Integrity and ability to work in a team environment and independently.
  • Computer literacy/proficiency required to complete training.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills; can multi-task and prioritize workloads.
  • Ability to retain instructions; willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
  • Knowledge of various cleaning products and appropriate use.
  • Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners.

Physical & Behavioral Requirements:

  • Traverse the work site and transport equipment needed for job functions.
  • Reach areas below waist level to the floor and above head level.
  • Communicate effectively with management and coworkers.
  • Detect/observe/inspect work area to identify opportunities and concerns.
  • Transport up to 50 lbs through the work site as needed.
  • Handle exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and potential irritants.
  • Meet minimum age requirements.
  • Dependable, punctual, ethical, flexible, and customer-service oriented.
